"Sic semper tyrannis"
Tyrant of the day- Judge Ian O'Flaherty. Already
just by from his name you know it has something to do with beer, because let's face it- the Irish are drunkards. He ruled
that Virginia's law of drunk driving at .08% is "unconstitutional" (AP). I'm sorry- I didn't know drinking alcohol and driving
was a liberty allowed in the Constitution. When asked about it, he said, "Oh well. One person dying every minute because
of alcohol-related crashes isn't as bad as two." (Before you go and sue me, that was a joke)
Because he represents judicial activism in Virginia's most liberal section,
I thought he would be a great tyrant of the day.
